To tell our story of how we came to be the Official NIL Vodka of the Garnet Trust, we must step back in time, way back.  You see, the Amick family settled in this area of SC back in 1752, on land that would eventually be flooded by Lake Murray.  At that time Columbia wasn’t anything more than a frontier fort and trading post, but by 1786 it was the first planned city and officially became the state capital. Eventually welcoming the University of South Carolina in 1801.

We won’t bore you with a string of dates, but over the generations, we have helped steward the community and build the city.  We've helped build and have been educated by the university.  It’s helped shape our future and our business, and now we can help shape the future for the dedicated athletes who step into the classrooms and onto the fields and courts.  Garnet & Black Vodka is the next step in parallel paths that have run for centuries.
